Resogun launches on Vita on December 23rd. Also, PS3.

Sony likes to get their smaller announcements out ahead of large events like E3 and TGS.  We all kinda' knew this was coming - there's been whispers of it for months - but Resogun is an excellent-enough game that you'd think they'd hold it for a nice Vita surprise during their keynote.  It's kind of a big deal.

Here's the particulars:

  • cross-buy, and cross-buy with the PS4 version.  If you got the PS4 version free with PS+, yes, you get this version free too.
  • locked at 30FPS (it's 60 on PS4).
  • no word on whether or not the Heroes DLC will be included.
  • awesome.
Oh, also, a new Super Stardust got announced today - Super Stardust Ultra is coming to PS4 in "early 2015," from some of Sony's studios in Europe - not series stewards Housemarque (who are, I suspect, hard at work on Alienation at the moment).
