The Game Awards : what's worth knowing.

There are little things - a new King's Quest, for example, Banner Saga 2 announced - but here's the important stuff.

1: Two minutes of No Man's Sky.

2: Trey Parker won for best voice performance for his work in South Park: The Stick of Truth, and gave the best acceptance speech of all time by saying "you have just proven that video games are the greatest artistic medium in the world, 'cause only in video games can Trey Parker beat out Kevin Spacey for best actor."

3: Tacoma is a first-person adventure set on a space station. Looks cool.

4: Adrift looks like someone saw Gravity and said "hey, let's make that first-person."

And that's it!  It was probably the best Geoff Keighley awards show, but it still smacked of desperation and awkwardness.

One day, Keighley.  One day.
