Musical interlude.

You remember Roy Brown, yeah?  He sings Butcher Pete and Good Rockin' Tonight, which you probably heard in those Fallout vid'ja games.

If you actually look into Roy Brown, you'll find a lot of his songs actually sound a lot alike.  Good Rockin' Tonight sounds a heckuva lot like Rockin' at Midnight, which sounds awfully similar to Ain't No Rockin' No More.  They're almost like... sequels.  Or coming in to the same conversation at different points to find the subject is still talking about the same thing.

Similarly, his sadder songs all have the same kind of feel - and a good fifty percent of all blues are supposed to be sad songs - but when Brown sings it, he's... wailing.  You know it's a performance, but those vocal chords just shred my emotions.  I want to hug him, and cry with him.

Sorry this is the best version of Dreaming Blues I could find.  There are much higher-quality recordings of it, I promise - they're just not on YouTube.   It's one of his less-popular blueses, but it's one of two that really stand out for me.  The other being the Long About Midnight.

And now, back to your regularly-scheduled vid'ja games!
