A Drinkbox Vita Collection launches July 13th.

This is a weird announcement.

A bundle of (wonderful Canadian indie studio) DrinkBox's Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack!!!, Guacamelee! and Severed (!) is gonna' launch on PSN on July 13th.  If you own a Vita but lack these games, you should buy it because Mutant Blobs is really good, and Guacamelee and Severed are both incredible.

But... a lot about this is strange.

First off, Severed only launched like a month ago.

Second, no price is given.

Third, if they're gonna' do this (and they should do this), why wouldn't they do it in concert with like a physical cart from Limited Run Games?

This is... depressing.  This speaks to me, and it says "we're a spectacular studio that bet big on the Vita for our last (amayzang!) game, and now we're having trouble paying our bills as we desperately try to port it to platforms with a broader audience (Wii U, iOS)."

Damnit, Vita-owning community.  You were given a gift.  And you squandered it!
