Children of Morta is officially coming to Switch.
It's fitting, I suppose, that this news - from Nintendo's indie vid yesterday - comes hot on the heels of the announcement that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night's Vita version is cancelled. Children of Morta - a kickstarted pixel art Roguelike action-RPG - had a Vita stretch goal, back when the Vita was still an important presence on the indie scene. It reached that stretch goal, for the record - but then, so did Hyper Light Drifter.
Long story short, no, Children of Morta's Vita version is likely not happening (not that developer Dead Mage will actually say so! - very frustrating!) - but that's okay, because it'll come to the new handheld home of indies, the Nintendo Switch, in early 2019.
Quite pleased with this, quite pleased. Now I'm still waiting on release dates for Mark of the Ninja Remastered and Hyper Light Drifter...
