Rockstar tossed up a little "Asked and Answered" thing on their official site today, responding to questions from the twitter community. One thing I was curious about was answered - although the special edition of the game comes with a big grand blueprint map with tons of secrets, the standard retail copies of the game will (as always) contain a map of Los Santos and the surrounding area - but it will be double-sided in order to include all the necessary information.
Rockstar assures folks that there will be "negligible" graphical differences between the PS3 and 360 versions of the game. Both versions have an 8GB install - and if you don't have a hard drive in your 360 (who doesn't have a hard drive in their 360?) you'll have to go out and buy a 16GB USB drive that's at least USB 2.0 in order to play the game.
The PS3 version comes on one Bluray, but the 360 version uses two discs - an install disc and a play disc. After installing the game on 360, you remove the install disc, put in the play disc and never suffer the indignity of disc-swapping again.
Wow. This is the first GTA V post since May. Rockstar also says they'll have gameplay to show folks "soon," so hopefully we won't have to wait much longer to see the minutae of their latest magnum opus.
