Okay there are actually some pretty great sales on PSN this week.

Today marks a PlayStation Anniversary Sale on PSN, and there's a ton on there.   As your trusted guide to the world of games, I have taken it upon myself to highlight the noteworthy (see: time-worthy) titles. I'm only listing the PS+ prices, because you should Goddamn well have a subscription.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn - $19.99 (PS4)
Call of Duty: Ghosts Gold Edition - $21.00 [just kidding - that's not time-worthy]

Dragon's Crown - $20.00 [everything I ever wrote about Dragon's Crown]
Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen - $13.60
Far Cry 3 Ultimate Edition - $12.49 [review]
inFamous - $1.19 [review]
Mass Effect 2 Ultimate Edition - $8.75 [review]
Okami HD - $6.99 [review]
Red Dead Redemption  - $7.50 [review]
SSX - $5.00 [review]
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - $12.00
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves GotY Edition - $12.00 [review]
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Game of the Year Edition - $12.00 [review]

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma - $16.00
Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc - $19.99
Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited - $19.99
Dragon's Crown - $16.00 [everything I ever wrote about Dragon's Crown]
Persona 4 Golden - $12.00 [review]
Ratchet & Clank Collection - $12.00
Tearaway - $14.40 [review]

As a reader of this blog, you are no doubt aware that Dragon's Crown for twenty or sixteen dollars is something you should jump on, if you haven't already.  I'm almost positive that price for inFamous is a typo - if it's not, that's easily worth it as well - and Okami HD for seven bucks?  Yes.

Yes indeed.

Now, you may be thinking "hot damn!  I should log on to my platform of choice and take advantage of these prices!"  Whoah there, pardner.  We're dealin' with Sony, here, and Sony also chose today to launch their subscription service for PlayStation Now.

So the PSN is down.  You won't be buying Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc for twenty bucks, and I won't be buying Atelier Ayesha: Alchemist of Dusk.
