The Sony presser - in brief.

Sony... had a pretty damn incredible conference.  Which is weird, because almost all of it was "coming in 2016," and not many new first-party stuff at all.

Let's break it down!

For just... big E3 moments, they won the show.  The Last Guardian, Shenmue III or FFVII alone would have rocked the Internet's world - all together, in one show, is pretty goddamned incredible.

  1. Sony knocked it out of the park with these announcements. It's like Christmas.

The downside is that many of these games have vague/distant releases.
Which means next year is gonna be killer.

    1. This year was supposed to be killer.

I mean, I can't be too down on 2015. We've still got Arkham Knight, Fallout 4 and maybe Persona 5 to go.

      That'll be fucking awesome.

    2. 2015, so far, has some wonderful things in it, despite many huge big games still waiting until next year.
Bloodborne happened! The Witcher 3 and Splatoon are my current distractions and I love them to bits.

    3. For me, 2015 has been Bloodborne, Dying Light and Darkest Dungeon.

Honestly, one of the things I'm loving most about this week is staying up late and having hours disappear in a blink with Darkest Dungeon.

    4. I gotta try it at some point. I'll take the plunge once it's out of early access.

    5. I really hope the Vita release doesn't slip like Mercenary Kings...

    6. The Vita has slowly become less and less relevant to the industry, so chances are dim.

That being said... Fallout 4, FFVII remake, Shenmue 3, and The Last Guardian were all got announced this month. Anything is possible.
