Which is strange, because usually when a game is coming to Vita, I was aware of it months go. Not so, with this. Turns out this has been in the works for some time, it's just that nobody had any idea except a few folks paying attention to the developer.
Back in February, the Vita version of Unepic appeared on the PlayStation Store - but it hadn't been released. It was quickly pulled. Back in January the dev said they'd put the games' PS4 and Vita versions in front of Sony's QA two months prior to that. So at this point, the game has been bouncing off Sony's quality assurance for four months. Today, this Tweet appeared.
¡Hola!— Unepic (@unepic_fran) February 29, 2016
No es del todo oficial, pero parece que la fecha de salida de Unepic para PS4 y Vita será el 16 de Marzo.
Which translates to "it's probably releasing on PS4 and Vita on March 16th."
What is Unepic, you may ask?
It's a nonlinear platforming action-RPG Metroidvania with its roots in classic D&D.
It enjoys about a 99% positive rating on Steam and a less-glowing 7/10 on Metacritic. And I'd probably day-one it on Vita except for the whole... Senran Kagura thing on the 15th...
But one day! Yes! Probably!
