Chance's Overwatch gameplay clip show 2.

Competitive mode is now, officially, out on every platform.  I played one game of it on PS4, got my ass kicked, and stuck with quick play for the rest of the night.

0:00 - 0:20 : a Pharah POTG where she doesn't just pop her ult, Pharah cleans off the final pad at the last crucial moments of King's Row offense with a few perfectly-placed rockets.

0:20 - 0:55 : this enemy crew had absolutely shattered our initial defense on King's Row, and made consistent progress throughout the round - every inch was tooth-and-nail (mostly our teeth getting kicked in as they flayed us with their fearsome nails).  At the last moment, a Reaper teleports above them and... waits.  And waits.

Waits until it's perfect.

And then Play of the Game goes to a Genji.

0:55 - 1:49 : this defending crew had us locked down on the first point of Hollywood until I went Zarya and used her alt-fire to long-bomb the enemy Bastion.  After that it was a nice, rolling fight down the lane, ending in this beautiful streak of destruction in their base.

1:49 - 2:07 : Mercy's potent healing can't save this Reinhardt from Mei's ult and a series of icicle headshots - but her pistol can get revenge.

2:07 - 2:28 : Lucio and company kept Hollywood's defense point locked down on this run - and this is actually the second time I hunted down and offed their Mercy.  Helping Mei take out the Reaper is just icing on the cake.

2:28 - 2:43 : don't try this at home, Kids.  Always get behind your Reinhardt when approaching an enemy Widowmaker. Do not approach Widowmaker if you are not playing Tracer, Reaper, Genji, Winston or Mei.  If you lose your mind and decide to actually shoot at a Widowmaker at range with your little wimpy Mercy pistol, do not expect to headshot her multiple times before she can headshot you the single time it would take to kill you.

But if you ignore all that, and you snipe an enemy Widow as Mercy - rest assured - I know those feels.  Those are good feels.
